Sawhorse Sites, operated by SilverQueen EOOD, builds and maintains websites for trade businesses. This page explains what information we handle and why.
What we collect
- Information you send us, through our forms or by email: your name, business name, email, phone number, website and notes.
- Billing details are collected and processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, not your full card number.
- Basic technical logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP addresses and pages requested, used for security and reliability.
Business contact information
We sometimes contact businesses using contact details the business publishes itself, such as the email address on its website, to offer a free website preview. We only use business contact channels, never personal ones. If you would rather not hear from us, reply "stop" or email us and we will add you to our do-not-contact list right away.
How we use information
We use it to reply to you, build your preview, provide and bill for our service, and keep our sites secure. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Estimate forms on client websites
When a homeowner submits an estimate request on a website we host for a client, the message is delivered to that client by our form provider, and we receive a copy so we can confirm the form works and tell the client how many requests their site produced. The client decides how to use the request.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run the service: website hosting, form delivery, email, and payment processing by Stripe. They process information only to provide their services to us.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep client records while you are a client and as long as needed for tax and accounting afterward. You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing us.
